Shipping policy

Effective date: 26 August 2026

1. Delivery area

We deliver primarily within South Africa. International delivery is available through checkout where a delivery rate is displayed for your destination, or by written quotation where checkout does not offer a rate. Any quoted rate will be set at a level that allows us to recover the full cost of the shipment, including carrier, insurance, handling and administration costs. We do not subsidise international delivery.

2. International delivery terms: DAP and DDP

Unless the checkout terms, order confirmation or written quotation expressly state otherwise, international orders are supplied Delivered at Place (DAP, Incoterms® 2020) to the named destination. Under DAP, we arrange and charge for transport to that destination, but the customer is the importer of record and is responsible for import clearance, customs duties, import VAT or similar taxes, brokerage, storage and other destination charges. These amounts are not included in our shipping charge and may be collected by the carrier or local authorities before delivery.

Delivered Duty Paid (DDP, Incoterms® 2020) will apply only where we expressly agree to it in writing before payment. A DDP quotation must include the estimated customs duties, import VAT, clearance and related destination costs in the total amount charged to the customer. We will not offer DDP unless the available carrier and customs arrangements allow us to recover those costs in full.

The applicable delivery term, named destination and included charges will be stated at checkout, in the order confirmation or in the written quotation, as applicable. Any quotation validity period will be stated in the quotation. If customs information supplied by the customer is incomplete or incorrect, any resulting additional cost may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.

3. Free standard shipping

Free standard shipping applies to qualifying South African orders with an order value of R2,000 or more after discounts and before any delivery charge. The checkout will show whether an order qualifies.

Remote-area, oversized, special-handling or international deliveries may attract an additional charge where this is disclosed before the order is completed.

4. Processing and estimated delivery

For in-stock orders, we aim to dispatch within 1–3 business days after payment, stock and delivery-address verification.

  • Gauteng: delivery usually takes 1–2 business days after dispatch.
  • Other main centres: delivery usually takes 2–4 business days after dispatch.
  • Regional and remote areas: delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after dispatch.

These timeframes are estimates, not guarantees, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Public holidays, courier capacity, severe weather, access restrictions and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect dispatch or delivery.

For supplier-sourced, pre-order and backorder items, the specific estimated lead time will be disclosed on the product page, at checkout, in the quotation or in written confirmation before we accept the order. If availability changes after acceptance, we will give you the revised estimate and the choice to continue with the order or cancel for a refund.

We will provide tracking information when available.

5. Address accuracy and delivery attempts

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact number. If a parcel is returned because the details were incorrect, access was unavailable, or reasonable delivery attempts failed, we may charge the reasonable cost of redelivery where permitted by law.

6. Delays, loss and damage

Contact info@180by2.co.za if tracking has not progressed, the parcel appears lost, or the parcel arrives damaged. Retain the packaging and provide photographs where possible. We will investigate with the courier and provide any remedy required by applicable law.

7. Collection

Collection may be offered by prior arrangement. Wait for confirmation that the order is ready and bring the requested identification or collection authority.
