Upgrade or replace part of your SteamVR tracking setup with the Valve Index Base Station. Built for precise room-scale VR, this Base Station uses SteamVR Base Station 2.0 tracking to help compatible headsets and controllers maintain accurate position data across a wider play area.
Valve's design uses fixed lasers that sweep 100 times per second, enabling sub-millimeter tracking resolution for responsive movement in VR. The 2.0 system offers improved range and field of view, with official specifications listing a 7m range and 160 x 115 degree field of view.
